To Discern Your Vocation

Each year, we organise week-ends or weeks to help you to discern your vocation. Many young men, from different regions, participate in these meetings. Many Friars will be present to listen to you and to share with you their joy and their experience of Franciscan life.

"What are You Looking For?"

At home, at school, in your work,… do you hear a call? Do your feel that the Lord has prepared a project for you? Do you pray and then feel that you are more lonely and in front of a Mystery? Do you then feel that you don’t understand anything?

"Come and See!"

Listen to the voice of God who speaks to your heart and be courageous! Knock at the door, there are always brothers ready to welcome you and to show you their love. With them, you can live a new experience: Fraternal Life!

"Place of His Presence"

It is in silence and with the help of the brothers’ prayer that the Lord will touch your heart and will tell you, first of all, that he loves you infinitely. His presence will cover you with incredible tenderness and intimate love.

"What Do You Want Me to Do?"

In this intimate peace, you might ask him the same question as Francis: "Lord, what do you want me to do?". It is especially in your personal prayer that he will start to give you signs. It is his way of acting and of answering you!

"Share With Your Brothers"

Since new family bonds start to be built, you can share with these new brothers what you would see and experience in our Capuchin brotherhood. They have come, like you, to discern God’s call. In this sharing, the Lord is going to prepare for you new surprises!

"Brothers to Listen to You"

Certainly, at that moment, you would have many questions to ask: How do I know that the Lord is calling me? What is God’s will for my life? How can I find joy and fullness of my life? How do I know that the Lord is calling me to the Consecrated Life? To the Capuchin Fraternity?... There would be always a Brother to listen to you and to walk with you!

"I am coming to do your will"

After that time of discernment, you might say your 'yes' in front of the cross! The Lord will give you strength to put into practice your 'yes' and to be faithful to it, like Francis, Clare, Pio and the others...
